Mucus plug or amniotic fluid?

I'm 41 weeks and 3 days. I've lost a mucus plug about 4 weeks ago and it looked mucus like and was slightly blood tinged. I know it can regenerate and you can lose multiple mucus plugs. This morning when i went to the restroom it seemed like i was losing another mucus plug but when i stood up it started running down my leg. It was watery and a darker brown/red than before. Was this a mucus plug or what? It threw me off because of how watery it was. I've been told the amniotic fluid should be clear so i don't want to go to the hospital for all the testing and it just be my mucus plug. Please help! Thanks
